CANAAN OP – I feel a sense of deja vu
It’s like something here feels so familiar…
But I just can’t quite put my finger on it…

I actually liked the OP a bit, even if a number of parts had me going for a while because I remembered seeing them in numerous other places. Maybe I’m just brooding over the fact that this is based off one of Type-Moon’s tales and nothing else.
Still, maybe with Nasu’s writing being a common factor I guess I’m being a little demanding asking for something that’s wildly different. Besides, you don’t fix what’s not broken etc etc.
Anyway, I just thought I’d point out a few things that stood out amidst the multitude of frames that constitute the bane of an animator’s life.
Okay so Exhibit A!

I think most people would know whose eyes are those eyes. (no seriously that’s not lol chaos;head forced meme lol, this was the second thing that came to mind so just went with it since I had no proper pictures for the first thing that did, unless you like black and white)

Well if you want to go into color scheme and glowing particles then ofc these don’t match, but who really cares. More belts and zippers on the next say…Kingdom Hearts hero won’t really make him that much different from his archetype.

I’m guessing Canaan’s a vampire hunter and the final boss of the animu is a infinitely reincarnating sorcerer turned bloodsucking vampire named gonjmadlav oar leahcim or something.
Aaaand that’s about it. I had more but I’m a little lazy and I’m horsewhipping my copy of share into grabbing the AATM PVs.

Whoa, I thought the opening would be Arousing Soul. About Exhibit A, her facial expression reminds me with Ryougi in chapter 4 hxxp://img12.imageshack.us/img12/9182/ryougi.jpg
I would note that Nasu and Takeuchi only made the extra scenario for the 428 visual novel. I don’t think I’ve heard that they’re working on the series but using the Takeuchi based style and stamping Type-Moon everywhere is obviously milking the TM fanbase/moar publicity.
Also – That picture of Arcueid looks like it’s from the anime that shouldn’t have been made -_-
